Madison, WI Yoga:
After 3 wonderful years of dedicating myself to staying home with my son, studying towards a graduate degree in special education, and teaching lots & lots of yoga, My family has moved to Madison, WI, and I have returned to full time work as a special education teacher.
While adjusting to life as a full time teacher in a new city, I am not teaching yoga classes. Instead, I am focusing on my own yoga journey as I continue to study Ashtanga after visiting the Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India in January of 2011.
Those of you who practice yoga know that you are called to the mat. Yoga is a journey in your life, and it guides you to how you may best grow. I know that it will not be long before I am again called to teach yoga. In fact, I am beginning to feel the calling already! I will update the website when I find a new studio to teach at.

Core Power Yoga
In just 90 minutes, experience lower body , core, and upper body strengthening through a challanging and energizing yoga class. A sequence combining vinyasa flow and static holds of hot yoga, each pose and sequence is intended to prepare your body for the next. There is no end to any posture - as your srength builds so does your practice. This class balances the entire body by strengthening, opening, and flushing out all the anatomical systems.

Mom and Baby Yoga
Join other Moms and their babies (2-24 months old) for fun sessions of yoga!Designed to strengthen the bond between mother and baby, yoga provides socialization for moms and babies alike. Learn techniques to soothe baby, promote healthy digestion, improve sleep and nurture physical and cognitive development.

Prenatal Yoga
Yoga is an excellent way to prepare the body for all of the changes it goes through during pregnancy. It teaches strength and stamina, as well as concentration and breath control, both of which are invaluable tools during labor and birth. It can be beneficial for every stage of pregnancy, and it gives the ever-changing pregnant woman a tool for self-awareness and relaxation. In class, you will learn to learn to use yoga’s mind/body awareness to connect with your own innate wisdom, body and your growing baby. Prenatal will assist you in strengthening the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Prenatal can also help you alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. The class includes a mixture of balancing, strengthening and stretching poses that are appropriate during pregnancy, emphasizing breathing and relaxation. Celebrate your pregnancy and give your baby the gift of yoga - a relaxed mom! No yoga experience is necessary.
